My family and I have been at Cajun Country for a few years now for work and we love it! All of the staff are super kind and personable. The grounds are well kept. There are restrooms and a washeteria on site which comes in handy for us long term tenants. Would definitely recommend staying here whether it be for a couple days or a couple months!

We’re full-time RVers from the Baton Rouge area, and Cajun Country RV Park in Port Allen is always our go-to spot when we’re in town. No matter the season or length of our stay, the park is always clean, well-kept, and welcoming.
The staff—owner Dickie, his son Austin, Jennifer, and others—are friendly and always helpful. The park has two sections: the older front with hard-packed sites and the newer back with concrete pads. Both have full hookups and most sites include a picnic table.
There’s a laundry, bathhouse, playground, pavilion, and even a walking path around a pond with plenty of grassy space to enjoy. We always feel safe and at home here. Highly recommend Cajun Country RV Park to anyone visiting the area!

This is a very quiet and peaceful campground! When I lived here as a college student, I always felt safe staying on my own. Even when I came in late at night after work, I was comfortable being outside.
The front office staff were always kind, helpful, and attentive whenever I needed something. They’re very aware of what’s happening around the park, which made me feel even safer.
I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a place to stay while in school… it’s only about a 15–20 minute drive to LSU!
